Join our dynamic Assurance team as an Assistant Manager specializing in IT Audit. This role is pivotal in driving functional excellence, fostering innovation, and supporting long-term growth within Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP. You will be instrumental in evaluating and enhancing IT controls across diverse environments, ensuring robust risk management and compliance for our clients.

Conduct comprehensive IT control assessments, evaluating the design and effectiveness of IT general controls, application controls, and process controls in on-premises, cloud, and hybrid settings. Perform risk assessments to pinpoint critical control areas related to financial reporting and operational risks.
Execute IT audit engagements by planning, testing, and documenting controls for access management, change management, system development, and disaster recovery, adhering to firm methodologies and professional standards like ISACA, COBIT, COSO, PCAOB, and SOX.
Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather information, understand processes, and effectively communicate audit findings. Prepare detailed workpapers, reports, and presentations, offering practical recommendations for control improvements and risk mitigation.
Assist clients with compliance initiatives, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and ISO 27001. Stay abreast of evolving technology regulations and best practices. Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to internal process enhancements and knowledge sharing.
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field is required. We are seeking candidates with 1-3 years of experience in IT audit, IT risk management, or similar roles.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of IT control frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, and ITIL, alongside standards like ISA and PCAOB. Familiarity with enterprise technologies, including ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), databases, and operating systems, is beneficial.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is essential. The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines is crucial.
While not mandatory for entry-level positions, professional certifications such as CISA or ISO 27001 are highly desirable and can significantly strengthen your application.
