Join our Assurance team as an Assistant Manager, specializing in Internal Audit. This role focuses on strengthening client foundations and ensuring robust financial practices. You will be integral to our Audit & Assurance practice, contributing to a dynamic team that understands the 'why' and 'how' of change.

As part of the Assurance (A&A) team, you'll operate within the client's environment as a procurement specialist. Your primary objective will be to enhance client satisfaction by building and scaling procurement operations in India, whether in a greenfield or transformation setting.

This position offers a unique opportunity to shape and implement procurement strategies, driving efficiency and value across various categories. Your work will directly impact the client's success and operational effectiveness.

Build and scale India's procurement organization from the ground up or through transformation initiatives. Implement comprehensive procurement policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and standardized processes. Oversee strategic sourcing and category management for direct procurement (raw materials, manufacturing inputs), technology (IT infrastructure, software, digital services), and non-technology categories (marketing, HR, logistics). Lead high-impact strategic sourcing projects, Request for Proposals (RFPs), and intricate negotiations. Drive supplier consolidation to foster long-term, value-driven partnerships. Develop and manage a strong supplier ecosystem across all procurement categories. Manage the entire supplier lifecycle, including selection, onboarding, performance monitoring, and development. Negotiate contracts, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and commercial frameworks to optimize outcomes.

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field is essential, with an MBA being a significant advantage. Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contract management is required. Familiarity with procurement tools such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle is expected. Proven ability to deliver enterprise-wide cost savings and demonstrate tangible value. Experience in enhancing procurement maturity through improved processes, systems, and governance. Focus on driving cycle time improvements and operational efficiency. Skilled in supplier performance management and risk mitigation. Language proficiency in Spanish, French, Czech, or Portuguese is a plus.
