As an Assistant Manager within our Modelling & Insights ICC Team, you will cultivate strong professional relationships with colleagues and clients, consistently striving to exceed expectations.
Your responsibilities will encompass supporting all facets of business modelling to facilitate superior decision-making. Typical engagements involve developing models and conducting analyses for:
- Mergers & acquisitions - Private equity buy-side and sell-side activities - Strategic business planning - Feasibility studies - Working capital and cash flow management - Corporate and financial restructuring - Carve-out and divestment processes - Post-merger integration - Cost reduction programs
In this role, you will support member firms and clients through the entire model development process. You'll collaborate within a team to design, develop, and test models, considering various scenarios and sensitivities to enhance client analysis and decision-making.
Key expectations include working under tight deadlines on complex, high-profile projects, bringing innovative solutions, and driving the BMG strategy forward. Strong business diagnostic skills and a logical, analytical approach to problem-solving are essential.
Ideal candidates will possess a CA/CFA (International) qualification, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and a strong academic record. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, and a keen interest in a challenging, dynamic work environment are required. The ability to work independently, proactively, and with a passion for client service is crucial. Working knowledge of model build, reviews, VBA coding, SQL, and/or Tableau is advantageous. This position follows a hybrid work model and does not involve extensive travel.
