Analyze data using tools like MS Excel, Power BI, and Alteryx to derive meaningful insights. Effectively communicate the financial implications of HR functions, including operations, benefits, and compensation. Demonstrate strong financial reporting proficiency and familiarity with financial statements. Leverage knowledge of HR operations, compensation, and benefits to inform deal strategies. Solve complex problems efficiently, even under tight deadlines, and navigate imperfect data to achieve project goals.
Communicate clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing, producing impactful reports and presentations in MS PowerPoint. Consistently achieve or surpass project deliverables. Independently manage engagement components, including summarizing data concisely. Adapt quickly to new skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proactively contribute to the growth of a developing team and work effectively in a deal setting with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, economics, computer science, business, HR, accounting, or finance is required. Candidates should possess 3-4 years of consulting experience, with a focus on M&A, retirement, pensions, healthcare, actuarial science, benefits, executive compensation, or HR operations.
Preferred experience includes the HR/human capital aspects of M&A, restructuring, or enterprise cost reduction, with an emphasis on due diligence and transaction risk assessment. Strong MS Excel skills for rapid and accurate data manipulation are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including proficiency in MS PowerPoint, are also necessary. An interest in working within a challenging and dynamic environment, alongside the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, is key. Transaction experience is considered an advantage.
