Join our dynamic Transaction Services Team as an Assistant Manager and drive significant improvements in working capital for our clients. This role is pivotal in identifying, evaluating, and implementing strategies to liberate cash from working capital through exhaustive analytics and process redesign.
You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to foster a cash-focused culture, leveraging advanced analytics to pinpoint opportunities and manage change effectively. International assignments and cross-functional collaboration are integral to this role, offering extensive networking opportunities within the firm.
Spearhead project execution and management within the Transaction Services Team, cultivating strong client relationships to exceed expectations. Develop innovative analytics solutions and frameworks to enhance delivery efficiency. Identify cash flow improvement opportunities through advanced analytics and lead change management initiatives.
Manage and mentor junior team members, fostering relationships with key stakeholders. Gain a rapid understanding of target businesses and their drivers. Analyze financial data, focusing on receivables, payables, and inventory. Utilize data transformation and visualization tools like Excel, Alteryx, and Power BI to produce high-quality deliverables.
Contribute to business development by leading client pursuits and presentations. Participate in practice development initiatives to support a positive team environment. Engage in cross-border teams for engagements of varying durations and complexity. Work with diverse clients, from large multinationals to owner-managed businesses, with potential for international secondments.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics, coupled with a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, is required. Professional qualifications such as CA are also highly valued.
Demonstrate significant management consulting expertise and a proven history of delivering performance improvement projects in areas like supply chain optimization, procurement, or accounts receivable, resulting in tangible benefits such as cost reduction and increased cash flow. A deep understanding of cash flow metrics and working capital operational levers is essential.
Possess demonstrated expertise in at least one major business workstream (order to cash, procure to pay, forecast to fulfil) and a proven ability to mobilize large teams and manage projects from start to finish. A strong analytical mindset, proficiency with analytics tools (Excel, Access, Alteryx, Power BI/Tableau), and experience in leading end-to-end business development pursuits are critical.
We seek candidates with an excellent academic record, strong report writing and reviewing skills with meticulous attention to detail, conciseness, and risk management awareness. Robust commercial acumen, market awareness, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service are expected. Fluency in written and verbal English is mandatory. Transaction experience is considered an advantage.
