Seeking a seasoned Assistant Manager with expertise in Guidewire Testing to join our Engineering as a Service/Operate team in Hyderabad. This pivotal role involves end-to-end quality ownership for Guidewire solutions, ensuring platforms are stable, scalable, and production-ready.

You will drive quality engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle, moving beyond test execution to encompass quality strategy, automation leadership, and release confidence. This position offers the opportunity to mentor QA engineers and serve as a key escalation point for quality-related matters.

Key responsibilities include owning the quality approach and test strategy for Guidewire Insurance Suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) and Digital platforms (Engage, Jutro), including integrations and APIs. You will define risk-based testing, enforce standards for functional, integration, performance, and non-functional testing, and ensure adherence to SDLC and quality gates. Driving automation-first testing, integrating it into CI/CD pipelines, and leading QA activities within Agile teams are crucial. You will also manage quality support for production issues, lead defect root-cause analysis, and mentor junior QA engineers.

A minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering is required. Candidates must possess a GW Certificate and strong hands-on experience testing Guidewire platforms, coupled with a solid understanding of P&C insurance business processes. Demonstrated experience leading QA workstreams or domains, along with a strong knowledge of Agile delivery and test management practices, is essential. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills are expected.
