You will be instrumental in transforming business needs into robust, implementable functional requirements for Guidewire projects. Acting as a key member of Agile teams, you'll ensure requirements are precise, verifiable, and in line with Guidewire capabilities and organizational standards.

This role emphasizes strong execution, deep functional understanding, and reliable delivery, with increasing responsibility for both ongoing operations and system enhancements.

Key responsibilities include conducting functional analysis and defining solutions across Guidewire platforms like PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter. You will translate business needs into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria, prioritizing out-of-the-box Guidewire features and identifying functional gaps. Partnering with Product Owners, SMEs, and delivery leads, you'll clarify objectives, support impact analysis, and contribute to business cases.

Managing and ensuring the quality of the backlog, including user stories and non-functional requirements, is crucial. You will act as the primary functional contact during sprints and actively participate in Agile ceremonies like planning, grooming, and reviews. Collaboration with developers, QEs, and release teams, along with supporting testing activities, is essential.

Additionally, you'll provide functional support for production incidents, assist in root-cause analysis and defect triage, and ensure lessons learned improve future requirements. Adhering to functional standards, promoting reuse of designs and patterns, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement are also key aspects of this role. You will also serve as a mentor for junior analysts and new team members.

We are seeking an Assistant Manager with 7-10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise settings. Essential qualifications include strong, hands-on experience with the Guidewire InsuranceSuite and a solid understanding of P&C insurance business processes. Proven experience working within Agile delivery teams is a must, alongside excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective written and verbal communication skills are vital for collaborating successfully with both business and technical stakeholders. While not mandatory, experience in multi-BU or shared-service delivery models, exposure to Guidewire Cloud transformations, and familiarity with integration-driven architectures would be advantageous.
