Join our Assurance team in Bengaluru as an Assistant Manager, specializing in Fund Accounting and Reporting. This role is within Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP's Accounting & Reporting Assurance practice, focusing on strengthening the foundations of our clients' future aspirations through expert attestation and assurance services.

As a Senior Team Lead, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining strong client relationships, consistently exceeding expectations. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can contribute to significant finance projects and initiatives within the fund finance platform, collaborating effectively with offshore teams.

Key responsibilities include managing the general ledger and trial balance for designated funds, accurately calculating CUVs, distributions, and management fees, and preparing essential regulatory reports like annual financial statements.

You will also support clients with their tax obligations, including income tax returns, calculating tax components for distributions, and preparing monthly BAS returns. Providing crucial financial information and support to various stakeholders such as Fund Managers, Investment Managers, and Tax teams is also a core part of this role.

Ensuring smooth auditor and tax consultant sign-offs for your assigned funds and mandates is critical. Additionally, you will actively contribute to overarching finance projects and initiatives within the fund finance platform, fostering seamless collaboration with offshore finance teams.

We are seeking candidates who are Qualified or pursuing CA, CFA, or MBA, complemented by a relevant tertiary qualification. An extensive work history of 3 to 5 years in Real Estate fund accounting or a business services background with exposure to trust accounting is essential.
