Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and user interfaces for Disney's Ad Platform using Java and modern front-end frameworks. Collaborate closely with product, UX, and engineering peers to deliver features enhancing user-centric advertising. Translate user stories into actionable engineering tasks, managing them from development through deployment. Mentor and support team members through code reviews, documentation, and guidance. Enhance system observability with metrics, monitoring, and alerting solutions. Participate in on-call rotations to ensure operational excellence. Champion best practices in code quality, automated testing, and agile workflows. Utilize automated tools, including AI, in compliance with company policies.

A minimum of 9 to 12 years of hands-on software engineering experience is required. Proficiency in Java and its associated frameworks like Spring Boot and ORMs is essential. Experience with ReactJS or other modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue, Angular) is necessary, with a willingness to embrace new technologies. A solid background in relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, including schema and query design, is expected. Experience working with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems is crucial. A strong foundation in computer science principles, including data structures and algorithms, is fundamental. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, are a must.
