Design and build scalable microservices and user interfaces for advanced advertising platforms using Java and modern front-end frameworks. Partner with product, UX, and engineering teams to deliver impactful features that enhance user-centric advertising. Translate user stories into actionable engineering tasks, managing them from development through deployment.
Provide mentorship and support to teammates through code reviews and guidance, enhancing system observability with metrics and monitoring. Participate in on-call rotations to ensure operational excellence and champion best practices in code quality, testing, and agile methodologies. You will also utilize and understand automated tools, including AI, while adhering to company policies.
We are looking for candidates with 9-12 years of hands-on software engineering experience. A strong command of Java and its related frameworks, such as Spring Boot, is essential, alongside experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS. Proficiency in relational databases like MySQL and Postgres, including schema and query design, is required.
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems is crucial. A solid foundation in computer science principles, including data structures and algorithms, is necessary. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are vital for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience is preferred.
