You will collaborate closely with product, UX, and engineering peers to deliver impactful features. Translating user stories into actionable engineering tasks, from development through deployment, will be a core function. Mentoring and supporting team members through code reviews, documentation, and guidance is expected (without direct reports). Enhancing system observability via metrics, monitoring, and alerting solutions is a priority. Participation in on-call rotations underscores our commitment to operational excellence. Championing best practices in code quality, automated testing, and agile workflows is crucial. Additionally, you will explore and utilize automated tools, including AI, while strictly adhering to company policies.

To be successful in this role, you must possess 9-12 years of hands-on software engineering experience. Essential technical proficiencies include Java and its related frameworks (such as Spring Boot, ORMs), along with experience in ReactJS or other modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue, Angular), and a willingness to adopt new technologies. A strong background in relational databases like MySQL and Postgres, covering schema and query design, is required. Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems is a must. A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms, is crucial. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, are paramount. Preferred qualifications include experience in ad tech, programmatic advertising, or real-time bidding platforms, familiarity with Spring Boot and related projects, cloud platforms like AWS, modern DevOps tools (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes), and data streaming mechanisms such as Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or SNS/SQS.
