As an Assistant Manager, you will cultivate strong client and team relationships, aiming to surpass expectations. Key responsibilities include developing a deep understanding of target businesses and their core drivers. You will meticulously assess data accuracy, investigate anomalies, and collaborate directly with clients and third parties to gather necessary information.
Your role will involve performing in-depth financial analysis to draw conclusions and identify critical issues. You will interpret, evaluate, and analyze publicly available information about target businesses. A significant part of your contribution will be preparing high-quality deliverables, such as Excel and PowerPoint documents, within established deadlines, and providing timely updates to managers.
You will proactively identify and report key issues to your supervisor. This position engages with a wide array of deals, including large, cross-border transactions across various industries. You will establish credibility with clients and targets as a representative of Deloitte Transaction Services and support business development activities through proposal contributions.
We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant, ideally with a strong academic record and 0-2 years of post-qualification experience. Prior audit or articleship experience, along with transaction exposure, would be advantageous.
Familiarity with Indian GAAP is required, while knowledge of IFRS is considered a plus. Essential skills include robust analytical capabilities and proficiency in MS Excel for handling and analyzing large datasets. A strong commercial understanding and market awareness are crucial.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary for this client-facing role. The base location can be any Deloitte office across India, and this profile involves frequent travel to client sites. Our standard working model is hybrid, with customized approaches implemented across different domains.
