Join our dynamic Sustainability team as an Assistant Manager, driving impactful environmental and social initiatives. You'll be instrumental in addressing sustainability and climate change concerns, advising clients on establishing robust internal processes for data collection, analysis, measurement, and reporting. Lead and support social baseline studies, including primary surveys and stakeholder consultations. Contribute to Environmental & Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) and Due Diligence (ESDD) assignments. Conduct gap analyses against international standards like IFC Performance Standards and ADB Safeguards. Assess social risks related to land acquisition, resettlement, and community well-being. Support lender advisory mandates through monitoring and compliance reviews. Assist with impact investing evaluations and ESG screening. Review social regulations and prepare high-quality client deliverables. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support business development efforts.

We seek candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences, Sociology, Development Studies, Anthropology, or a related field, coupled with 2-4 years of experience in social impact, ESIA/ESDD, or sustainability consulting. Essential skills include a strong understanding of social baseline surveys, stakeholder engagement, IFC Performance Standards, ADB Safeguards, and EHS Guidelines. Experience with lender-funded projects or impact investing is preferred. Proficiency in social regulations, land acquisition frameworks, and strong analytical, writing, and stakeholder management skills are crucial. Willingness to travel for fieldwork is required.
