As a Senior Consultant, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-scale software solutions. You'll lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across various environments. Collaboration with global, cross-functional teams is key to translating functional requirements into effective deliverables, while also providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire project lifecycle, from estimation and planning to execution and metric tracking, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, timely solutions.

You will spearhead discussions with business and functional analysts to capture requirements and assess integration impacts on business architecture. Prepare detailed technical architecture and design documents, clarifying requirements and resolving ambiguities. Develop solutions aligned with established technical designs, integration standards, and quality processes. Establish and enforce technical design and development guides, templates, and standards. Facilitate daily scrum meetings, manage deliverables, and prepare comprehensive weekly status reports for leadership. Conduct thorough deliverable reviews and offer technical guidance to team members. Collaborate effectively with onsite clients, coordinators, analysts, and cross-functional teams. Design templates or scripts to automate routine development or operational tasks, enhancing efficiency.

We require 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Guidewire Configuration/Integration. A strong background in functional and technical systems analysis & design, system architectural design, presentation, process interfaces design, process flow design, system impact analysis, and design documentation is essential. Proficiency in developing applications using TDD (Test Driven Development) and Unit testing processes, along with experience in SCRUM and Agile development methodologies, is crucial. You should possess experience in the development, testing, and maintenance of programming environments and architectural standards, and be able to perform work product estimations. A proactive drive for improvement and innovation, coupled with knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, is expected. Experience working on agile development teams (Scrum or Kanban) and platform upgrade experience are vital. Hands-on experience with GOSU, Web Services, and XML is necessary, along with a solid understanding of GW Integration/Configuration concepts. The ability to design and develop Guidewire Integration Components or configure PC, BC, or CC, and write GOSU code is required. Guidewire ACE/Cloud certifications are a plus.
