This role, reporting to the D&T Manager – HR, is key to configuring and supporting Workday HCM and other HR systems. As a Lead Analyst, you will be instrumental in global HR system process, data, and technology projects, ensuring day-to-day operational support for HR systems and maintaining their health and sustainability. Your deep Workday HCM functional expertise will be critical for troubleshooting issues and devising solutions, including business process configuration, complex calculated fields, integrations, EIBs, and security management.
You will act as a Lead Consultant for global HR systems, data, and processes, identifying and articulating process impacts on technology and data, along with potential constraints. Partnering closely with the business, you will define functional requirements, including data, configuration, and integration needs, translating these into actionable recommendations and technical specifications.
Furthermore, you'll help understand business pain points, prioritize requirements, and pinpoint opportunities for process enhancement and efficiency gains through existing and new functionality. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of prioritized initiatives from discovery through stabilization, including quality assurance, test script creation, execution, and ensuring user acceptance. Developing technical documentation, communicating system or process changes effectively to diverse audiences, and advocating for HR solutions while staying informed on new trends are also key responsibilities.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) or Management Information Systems (MIS) is preferred. We require a minimum of 7 years of experience in supporting and delivering complex IT solutions, with a preference for candidates with 9+ years in this area.
Specifically, you should possess at least 5 years of hands-on experience in configuring, solutioning, and supporting Workday HCM Core. Experience working within a project team for a complex, global system implementation is essential. The ability to effectively collaborate with contractors and third-party vendors to ensure high-quality project outcomes and enhancements is also required.
Demonstrated ability to gather and translate business requirements into clear specifications, and to analyze, design, configure, and support data, processes, and technology is crucial. Experience supporting the stabilization and ongoing production of technical solutions is expected. You should be adept at managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively, with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with both technical and business partners at all levels. The capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, along with prior experience in a global company, will be highly valued.
