Digital forensics is a sophisticated process crucial for streamlining discovery, uncovering critical issues, and enhancing readiness for investigations, litigation, and regulatory compliance. It involves multiple steps impacting various stages of an investigation.

As an Assistant Manager in Forensic Technology Services, you will support project management in the vital areas of data collection, recovery, preservation, and analysis from diverse digital storage devices. Your responsibilities will include:

- Demonstrating strong knowledge of various digital storage devices, their functions, and data security protocols. - Applying expertise in digital and cyber forensic work procedures. - Reviewing work from junior team members, conducting additional research to meet client Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and analyzing digital evidence. - Providing constructive feedback to team members to enhance work quality. - Developing compelling client deliverables through strong analytical and report writing skills, and updating senior management and clients verbally and in writing. - Identifying team training needs and developing/conducting relevant training sessions. - Consolidating updates from team members and vendors into comprehensive client reports. - Assisting Deputy Managers/Managers/Sr. Managers with proposal strategy, RFQs, engagement letters, project MIS, and time reporting. - Managing vendor onboarding and liaising with third parties for information gathering.

Ideal candidates for this Assistant Manager role will possess a graduate or postgraduate degree specializing in computer science, digital forensics, or computer security. Candidates with postgraduate degrees in related fields like IT security or Computer Management, coupled with relevant work experience, are also encouraged to apply.

Essential qualifications include holding at least one certification such as EnCE, Relativity Pro or Specialist, or an equivalent. The role requires 3-6 years of relevant work experience, ideally within sectors like e-discovery, digital forensics, cyber forensics, IT infrastructure, or IT security.

Key skills include excellent communication and digital investigation report writing abilities, proficiency in meeting facilitation, and the capacity to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Hands-on experience with digital forensic tools like EnCase, Nuix, Intella, and Relativity is crucial. A strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities is required, alongside sound knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
