Join our Valuations Team as an Assistant Manager and contribute to a dynamic global network. Our team specializes in valuations for financial reporting, tax compliance, transaction support, and other commercial purposes. As an Assistant Manager, you will build strong client relationships and support all facets of valuation engagements. This includes performing and assisting in the valuation modeling and pricing of complex financial instruments like stock awards, options, warrants, fixed income, and derivatives. You will develop sophisticated quantitative models, prepare high-quality deliverables within deadlines, and review the work of junior team members.
Further responsibilities involve supporting international valuation practices, developing and reviewing valuation models for global entities, and optimizing models using tools like Python and VBA. You will also prepare detailed valuation reports, liaise with international engagement teams, and apply strong business diagnostic and analytical problem-solving skills.
To excel in this role, you should possess a CA or CFA (International) qualification with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience. A strong academic record and prior experience within a Big 4 firm, leading investment bank, or their support centers are advantageous.
Essential experience includes at least one year in valuing complex financial instruments such as employee stock awards, warrants, preferred shares, contingent considerations, and fixed income instruments. Familiarity with credit risk assessment and advanced knowledge of Excel are required. Proficiency in Python/VBA, along with experience in sophisticated valuation models and data sources like Capital IQ or Bloomberg, will be a significant plus.
