Join our esteemed Valuations team as an Assistant Manager, contributing to complex securities valuations. You will partner with global Deloitte member firms, providing crucial advisory and support services for diverse valuation engagements. As part of our team, you will engage in a wide array of valuation services, including business valuation, intangible asset valuation, purchase price allocations, fairness opinions, and audit support. In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams, consistently exceeding expectations. You will actively participate in valuation modeling and pricing for intricate financial instruments like stock awards, options, warrants, fixed income, and derivatives.
Develop advanced quantitative models, including option pricing, lattice frameworks, and Monte Carlo simulations. Prepare high-quality deliverables, such as valuation models and reports, meeting all agreed-upon timelines. Support complex securities valuation practices for Deloitte member firms across Canada, the UK, Australia, the Middle East, and Europe.
We are seeking candidates with 3 to 6 years of experience, holding a CA or CFA (International) qualification, or equivalent. A strong academic record and prior experience with Big 4 firms, leading investment banks, or their support centers are advantageous.
Demonstrated expertise in valuing complex financial instruments, including employee stock awards, warrants, and contingent considerations, is essential. Familiarity with credit risk assessment and advanced option pricing models, such as Binomial Lattice and Monte Carlo simulation, is highly desirable. Proficiency in Python/VBA and advanced knowledge of Excel, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, or Thomson are significant pluses.
