This Assistant Manager role within National Assurance, ASU, FAAS, and Financial & Accounting Advisory Services is based in NCR & BLR, offering a well-rounded experience across various industries.

Leverage deep techno-functional knowledge to drive transformation in Record to Report areas, acting as a transformation lead rather than a Project Manager. This involves a holistic approach to process improvement, not necessarily technology implementation.

Demonstrate end-to-end techno-functional expertise in Record to Report data structures and processes within leading ERP solutions like SAP FI/CO, SAP BPC, SAP Group Reporting, and Oracle Fusion Financial. Focus on transforming key areas including Revenue Recognition, Accruals, Intercompany Reconciliation, Manual Journal Entries & Automation, Asset Accounting, Chart of Accounts, Account Reconciliation, Sub-ledger Accounting, Consolidation processes, Financial Statement Preparation, Notes to Accounts, Cost Accounting, Inventory, and Profitability Analysis.

Provide subject matter expertise and lead delivery teams in Record to Report transformation/implementation projects. Apply deep techno-functional knowledge of ERP platform integration with AI-based technologies, ideally with hands-on experience designing AI solutions for Record to Report areas using SAP platforms.

Possess intensive knowledge of consolidation processes and data structures within leading consolidation tools such as SAP Group Reporting, SAP BPC, and Oracle FCCS. Understand the mapping of operational charts of accounts to Group Charts of Accounts or FS Items.

Lead delivery teams or workstreams on large-scale projects. Maintain solid knowledge of AI solutions and their applicability in Record to Report. Experience in developing AI solutions in this domain is preferred.

Lead pursuit and proposal teams, developing client-specific solutions and collaborating with market teams to secure new business. Foster cross-service line collaboration for seamless project execution.

Drive internal capability development and training sessions. Lead operational initiatives within practice areas. Directly manage teams of 5-8 FTEs. Develop individuals through coaching, motivation, and guided training, fostering career conversations to ensure engagement.

Exhibit deep knowledge in Record to Report, Invoice to Pay, and Order to Cash areas. Possess certification and/or sound experience in ERPs like SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Central Finance, Oracle Fusion, and Oracle Netsuite, as well as digital finance solutions like Blackline, Trintech, and High Radius.

Understand AI/ML/Gen-AI and Analytics solutions in the finance space, particularly for Record to Report. Have knowledge of consolidation, reporting, inter-company, and ERP data structures. Experience in current state analysis, future state design, process optimization, data optimization, data analytics, and data management is crucial.

Utilize strong business development, solution conceptualization, product build, and project management skills. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Demonstrate a flexible work attitude, proven ability to lead diverse teams across geographies, strong collaboration skills, and the capacity to comprehend complexity quickly.

Be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, possess strong entrepreneurial skills with ownership of problems and solutions, and exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities. Be willing to work under stress and produce results, with a willingness to travel on short notice.

To excel in this role, you must hold a professional qualification such as CA, MBA (Finance) with a Commerce Background, CWA, CMA, CFA, or M.Com. You should possess 2-5 years of relevant consulting experience specifically in Record to Report transformation, not just industry user experience.
