The Assistant Manager position within our National Assurance team (ASU - FAAS - Financial & Accounting Advisory Services) is based in NCR and BLR. This role is integral to Assurance's mission of inspiring confidence and trust by serving the public interest, promoting transparency, and supporting economic growth.

Our service offerings encompass External Audit, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS), IFRS & US GAAP conversion, IPO readiness, and Corporate Treasury support, including IFRS 9 accounting and implementation.

Drive transformation in record-to-report areas using deep techno-functional expertise, focusing on holistic process improvement rather than technology implementation. You will leverage in-depth knowledge of leading ERP solutions like SAP FI/CO and Oracle Fusion Financial.

Key responsibilities include transforming critical areas such as revenue recognition, accruals, intercompany reconciliation, manual journal entry automation, asset accounting, chart of accounts management, account reconciliation, sub-ledger accounting, consolidation processes, financial statement preparation, and cost accounting.

Provide subject matter expertise, lead delivery teams, and design AI-based solutions for record-to-report processes. You will also lead pursuit and proposal teams, collaborate across service lines, and develop internal capabilities through training and coaching. Directly manage teams of 5-8 FTEs, focusing on their development through coaching and career conversations.

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess a CA, MBA (Finance) with a Commerce background, CWA, CMA, CFA, or M.Com. A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant consulting experience in record-to-report transformation is required; industry user experience is not considered.

Ideal candidates will have deep techno-functional knowledge of ERP platforms and their integration with AI technologies. Experience in designing AI solutions for record-to-report areas, particularly on SAP platforms, is highly preferred. Strong business development, solution conceptualization, and project management skills are crucial. Excellent communication, a flexible work attitude, proven team leadership, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to work under stress are also required. Willingness to travel is necessary.
