This role is within the National Assurance team, specifically supporting the Assurance, Strategy, and Operations (ASU) - Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) - Financial & Accounting Advanced services in Gurgaon. The National team comprises sector-agnostic professionals providing well-rounded experience across industries. Assurance's core purpose is to inspire confidence and trust by serving the public interest, promoting transparency, and supporting economic growth. We assist clients by ensuring compliance with audit standards, providing clear perspectives to audit committees, and delivering critical information to stakeholders. Our service offerings encompass External Audit, FAAS, IFRS & US GAAP conversion, IPO support, and Corporate Treasury accounting.

Drive technical excellence in IFRS 9 Financial Accounting and Reporting, leveraging strong experience in IFRS accounting and reporting (or equivalent USGAAP/IndAS). You will focus on IFRS9/13/10/16, including hedge accounting, derivative accounting, and treasury products. Responsibilities include reviewing accounting treatments, ensuring accurate financial reporting through journal entries, and managing month-end and quarter-end finance close processes. You will also prepare financial statements and disclosures according to relevant standards, conduct analytical reviews, maintain SOPs and internal controls, and prepare accounting manuals. Support will be provided for new business models and accounting advice on specific transactions.

Utilize technological skills to work proficiently with accounting software like SAP and Oracle, alongside advanced Excel. Experience with SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau will be advantageous. You will also engage with financial reporting tools such as Workiva, Casewire, and Net Suite. Participate in system upgrades and finance transformation projects by providing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), reviewing test results, performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and providing go-live sign-offs. Contribute to automating accounting processes to enhance efficiency and minimize manual efforts.

To excel in this role, you must possess a professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or ACCA.

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting is required.
