This Assistant Manager role is part of the National Assurance team, focusing on Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) within the Assurance division. Assurance's core purpose is to inspire confidence and trust, serving the public interest by promoting transparency, supporting investor confidence, and nurturing future business leaders.

Key responsibilities include delivering technical excellence in regulatory reporting for banks, specifically in Liquidity and Capital Adequacy Reporting, adhering to global regulatory standards (e.g., UK PRA/EBA/US FED/RBI/HKMA). You will prepare critical reports like LCR, NSFR, and COREP, and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of major treasury products and their impact on financial and regulatory reporting.

Additional duties involve managing client projects, implementing digital solutions, and leveraging strong project management and communication skills. Experience with creating Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Test Cases, and Design Documents is essential, as is proficiency in SIT/UAT testing and securing sign-offs. Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools is advantageous, alongside strong working knowledge of SQL and Power BI.

To qualify for this role, you should possess a CA (or equivalent, e.g., CPA/ACCA) or an MBA in Finance. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of strong, relevant experience within the Financial Services (FS) sector is required.
