This role is an Assistant Manager within the National Assurance team, specifically focusing on Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS). The National team provides diverse experience across various industries. FAAS plays a critical role in inspiring confidence and trust by ensuring compliance with audit standards, providing clear perspectives to audit committees, and delivering vital information to stakeholders. Our service offerings span External Audit, FAAS, IFRS & US GAAP conversion, IPO support, and corporate treasury accounting.

Drive technical excellence by applying a strong understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, and International Auditing Standards. Provide expert technical accounting advisory on complex financial topics, including revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, consolidations, stock-based payments, and financial instruments. Research emerging issues, regulations, and industry practices to address client inquiries. You will be expected to take personal responsibility for the quality of your deliverables, foster a positive and inclusive team environment, and be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential for detailed analysis and client presentations. Key areas of focus include accounting and regulatory support for accounting changes, white paper writing, providing comprehensive technical accounting guidance, conducting research on accounting issues, preparing financial statements, and supporting audits.

To excel in this role, you must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (US), or ACCA (UK). We require 3-6 years of relevant post-qualification experience. Ideal candidates possess the ability to collaborate effectively across client departments while adhering to commercial and legal requirements. A practical, problem-solving approach is crucial, delivering insightful and actionable solutions.
