Key responsibilities include offering robust technical accounting advisory on complex matters such as business combinations, consolidations, shared-based payments, and financial instruments.
Coordinate with offshore technical accounting teams, providing research assistance on U.S. GAAP and IFRS pronouncements. You'll also lead project management for accounting engagements, ensuring seamless information flow and coordination across cross-functional finance teams. This role involves working on diverse accounting issues from initial client discussions through audit completion, requiring strong written and verbal communication skills.
To excel in this role, a Chartered Accountant qualification is essential, alongside 3-6 years of relevant post-qualification experience. Proficiency in IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, and International Auditing Standards is critical. You should possess strong technical accounting advisory skills, particularly in areas like business combinations and financial instruments.
