This Assistant Manager role within the National Assurance team, specifically in FAAS (Financial Accounting Advisory Services), is based in Bangalore. You'll join sector-agnostic teams offering well-rounded industry experience. Assurance's mission is to inspire confidence and trust, serving the public interest by promoting transparency, supporting investor confidence, and nurturing future business leaders. Our service offerings span external audit, FAAS, IFRS & US GAAP conversion, IPO support, and corporate treasury accounting.
As an Assistant Manager, your key responsibilities will involve driving technical excellence in regulatory reporting for banks, focusing on Basel 3.1 requirements. This includes managing and executing client projects, developing and implementing digital solutions, and demonstrating strong project management skills. You will be responsible for preparing regulatory reports such as Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), alongside COREP reporting. Experience with preparing BRDs, Test Cases, and Design documents, coupled with proficiency in SIT/UAT testing and securing sign-offs, is crucial. You will also leverage your strong working knowledge of SQL and Power BI to deliver impactful insights.
To excel in this role, you must possess a CA (or equivalent like CPA/ACCA) or an MBA Finance qualification. We require 3-5 years of relevant experience in regulatory reporting for banks, with a strong understanding of Liquidity and Capital Adequacy Reporting frameworks (e.g., UK PRA/EBA/US FED/RBI/HKMA). In-depth knowledge of major treasury products and their reporting impacts is essential. Familiarity with banking, treasury, and regulatory systems such as Axiom, Murex, or SAP is expected. Experience with tools like JIRA or Quality Centre will be advantageous. We seek individuals who can collaborate effectively, solve complex problems practically, and deliver insightful solutions, embodying agility, curiosity, mindfulness, and creativity.
