This Assistant Manager role is part of the National Assurance team, specifically within the Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) group in Bangalore. Our Assurance division inspires confidence and trust by protecting the public interest, promoting transparency, supporting investor confidence, and nurturing future business leaders.

As an Assistant Manager in FAAS, you will ensure client accounts comply with requisite audit standards, provide a clear perspective to audit committees, and deliver critical information to stakeholders. Your role involves technical accounting advisory on complex topics such as business combinations, consolidation, and financial instruments.

You will coordinate with on-shore teams, manage projects, and conduct research on emerging accounting issues and new technologies. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, developing accounting policies, and providing comprehensive technical accounting guidance to clients.

This position requires working on accounting matters through all stages, from initial client engagement to audit closing, and may involve flexibility for travel on short notice.

To excel in this role, a Chartered Accountant qualification is essential, along with 3-6 years of relevant post-qualification experience. Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, and International Auditing Standards is crucial.
