As part of the National team, you will gain well-rounded experience across various industries. The ASU - FAAS - Financial&AccountingAdv team focuses on providing critical information to stakeholders and ensuring accounts comply with requisite audit standards.
As an Assistant Manager, you will provide technical excellence by demonstrating a strong understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, and International Auditing Standards. You will offer technical accounting advisory on complex matters like business combinations, consolidations, stock-based compensation, and financial instruments. Coordinate with onshore teams to research and resolve accounting issues, manage projects effectively, and ensure seamless information flow between finance functions.
Engage in all stages of accounting matters, from initial client pitches to audit closing. Develop strong written and verbal communication skills, along with presentation and technical writing abilities. You will research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations and new technologies, showcasing flexibility for short-notice travel. Your expertise will be applied to accounting change, special matters, white paper writing, and providing comprehensive technical guidance on complex transactions.
To excel in this role, you should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3-6 years of relevant post-qualification experience. A CPA (US) or ACCA (UK) qualification is also valued. We seek individuals who can collaborate effectively across client departments, adhering to commercial and legal requirements. A practical, problem-solving approach is essential, delivering insightful and actionable solutions. Candidates should be agile, curious, mindful, and possess positive energy, with an adaptable and creative mindset.
