Our FAAS team provides critical services, including ensuring regulatory compliance for accounts, offering robust perspectives to audit committees, and delivering essential information to stakeholders. Our service offerings encompass external audits, IFRS & US GAAP conversions, IPO readiness, and corporate treasury accounting support.

As an Assistant Manager, you will be instrumental in managing and executing FAAS projects, developing and implementing innovative solutions. You will identify and cultivate new business opportunities, manage client accounts, and mentor junior team members to foster technical excellence and continuous learning.

Collaboration is key; you will integrate with other EY service lines on multi-disciplinary projects and contribute to thought leadership initiatives. Regular client interaction is expected, requiring travel to meet with key stakeholders. This role demands strong project management capabilities and excellent communication skills to articulate complex financial and accounting issues clearly.

To excel in this role, you must be a qualified CA (or possess equivalent certifications such as CPA, ICAEW, or ACCA) with a strong academic record, ideally with first or second-time passes for ICAI or equivalent.

You should possess substantial experience (3-5 years post-qualification) in IGAAP, IFRS, or US GAAP financial reporting, particularly within complex/large companies, audit, advisory, or transaction environments, or in an MNC finance/M&A setting. An advisory mindset, coupled with business development aptitude, is crucial. Specific experience in areas like transactions, IPO preparation, complex consolidations, tax planning, technical training delivery, or specific reporting topics (revenue recognition, financial instruments, SPEs, banking, insurance) is highly valued.
