This role as an Assistant Manager in Assurance, specifically within FAAS (Financial Accounting Advisory Services) and Financial & Accounting Advancement, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our National Assurance team in Bangalore. You'll be part of sector-agnostic teams, gaining a well-rounded experience across various industries. As an Assistant Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring client accounts comply with requisite audit standards, providing robust perspectives to audit committees, and delivering critical information to stakeholders. Your responsibilities will span external audits, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS), IFRS & US GAAP conversions, IPO readiness, and corporate treasury accounting support, including IFRS 9.
You will also be involved in Basel 3.1 Regulatory Reporting, focusing on Liquidity and Capital Adequacy reporting in line with global regulatory standards. This includes preparing key reports such as LCR, NSFR, and COREP, and demonstrating in-depth knowledge of major treasury products. Managing client projects, developing digital solutions, and executing SIT/UAT testing are also key aspects of this role. Strong project management and communication skills are essential for success.
To excel in this role, a CA qualification (or equivalent like CPA/ACCA) or an MBA in Finance is required. You should possess 3-5 years of relevant experience in areas such as regulatory reporting for banks, including liquidity and capital adequacy. Proficiency in preparing LCR, NSFR, and COREP reports, alongside a deep understanding of treasury products and their reporting impacts, is crucial.
Experience with banking and regulatory systems like Axiom, Murex, or SAP, along with the ability to create BRDs, test cases, and design documents, is highly valued. Experience with SIT/UAT testing and securing sign-offs is necessary. Familiarity with JIRA or Quality Centre is an advantage. We are seeking individuals with excellent communication, SQL, and Power BI skills, who can work collaboratively and deliver insightful, practical solutions.
