This role is part of the National Assurance team, specifically within the Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) group in Bangalore. FAAS plays a crucial role in fostering confidence and trust in the financial world by upholding public interest, promoting transparency, supporting investor confidence, and nurturing future business leaders.
Our service offerings encompass External Audit, Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS), IFRS & US GAAP conversions, IPOs and public offerings, and Corporate Treasury accounting for instruments like IFRS 9.
Drive technical excellence in accounting, ensuring adherence to IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, and International Auditing Standards. Provide expert accounting advisory on complex topics such as business combinations, consolidation, share-based payments, and financial instruments.
Collaborate with on-shore technical accounting teams to research and resolve accounting issues related to U.S. GAAP and IFRS pronouncements. Lead project management efforts, ensuring seamless information flow and coordination among cross-functional finance team members. Manage diverse accounting matters throughout their lifecycle, from initial client engagement to audit completion.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing capabilities. Possess the ability to research client inquiries, emerging issues, regulations, industry practices, and new technologies. Be flexible and prepared to travel on short notice as required. Your experience should include accounting and regulatory support for accounting changes, white paper writing, providing comprehensive technical guidance on complex transactions, conducting research and analysis, preparing financial statements, and supporting audit processes.
We are seeking candidates who are Chartered Accountants (CA), CPA (US), or ACCA (UK), with 3 to 6 years of relevant post-qualification experience. Ideal candidates possess the ability to collaborate effectively across client departments while adhering to commercial and legal requirements.
