Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Manager in Accounting & Reporting, based in Mumbai. This role focuses on enhancing processes, controls, and governance within the financial sector. We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record in internal controls and SOX advisory to drive compliance and optimization.

Key responsibilities include executing internal control and SOX advisory engagements, encompassing implementation, testing, transformation, and optimization. You will also perform IFCoFR testing on statutory audits. This involves conducting walkthroughs, testing design and operating effectiveness, and performing gap analysis against industry standards and technical guidance.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in internal controls/SOX advisory, specifically within the Banking, NBFC, or Fintech sectors. Experience with IFCoFR testing for statutory audits is also valued. A strong understanding of technical literature on IFC/COSO/SOX/IFCoFR and general industry practices is essential. Proficiency in performing control walkthroughs, design testing, and operating effectiveness testing, along with gap analysis based on benchmarking, is required. Previous experience with Big 6 or similar firms, or within the Banking and NBFC industries, is preferred.
