This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the Total Rewards portfolio for GDS Philippines. You will be instrumental in supporting annual reward cycles, budgeting, and benchmarking. The position involves designing and implementing comprehensive benefits frameworks and policies, aligning with GDS cultural nuances and managing programs from conception through to execution.
Proactively engage with HR colleagues and business leaders to address compensation challenges and champion EY's total compensation philosophy. You may also contribute to global solutioning projects, ensuring adherence to all statutory and regulatory compliance while overseeing daily operations. This dynamic role may extend to managing additional country responsibilities.
Lead the full lifecycle of compensation activities, including benchmarking, budgeting, and annual increase/bonus cycles. Cultivate and leverage networks for market intelligence, partnering closely with HR and business clients on compensation and benefit-related matters.
Provide expert guidance and develop innovative solutions for total compensation issues, including setting appropriate fixed and variable pay levels. Oversee employee benefits programs such as insurance, medical, wellness, and retirement plans. Design and execute effective benefits communication strategies to boost employee awareness and engagement.
Build robust networks to assess talent retention data, conducting root cause analysis and providing actionable recommendations. Perform ad hoc analyses for costing, program effectiveness, and trend identification. Participate in industry compensation and benefits surveys to analyze market positioning, and conduct custom surveys as needed.
Develop and propose Rewards and Recognition policies, ensuring articulation of management proposals for new changes. Guarantee full compliance with all statutory and regulatory employment laws, social security, taxation, and labor requirements. Collaborate with legal, payroll, and HR teams for compliant documentation, reporting, and record management.
Identify opportunities for technological transformation in process areas, conducting deep-dive analyses and calculating ROI for compensation interventions. Facilitate change management processes and communicate effectively with employees. Partner with Procurement and Risk Management for new service provider onboarding, ensuring prompt and accurate compliance. Maintain fiscal responsibility for program budgets and ensure judicious use of allocated funds.
A Bachelor's Degree is required, coupled with a minimum of 12 years of experience, ideally within Total Rewards or a comparable management role in the industry.

Ideally, you possess a solid grasp of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and legislation specific to the Philippines, including basic taxation laws applicable to compensation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, with a proven track record in planning, execution, and auditing, are key. The ability to systematically break down complex problems and develop multiple alternative solutions is expected.
Excellent project management skills are required, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. The ability to create tools and models for data interpretation and analysis is advantageous.
