This role involves planning and executing functional verification for IP, Cluster, and SOC designs. You will be responsible for creating regression plans, ensuring functional coverage closure, and performing pre-silicon validation, including XPROP simulations and GLS. Spearhead ASIC verification for IP/Cluster designs in RTL, ensuring the integrity of complex architectures. Collaborate closely with HW architects and designers to influence implementation choices for optimal performance. Partner with Performance verification teams, leveraging dynamic simulations and formal verification techniques to enhance overall verification. Thoroughly review specifications to guarantee comprehensive functional and code coverage for all verified RTL. Enable FPGA and S/W teams by ensuring that software components undergo rigorous testing. Participate actively in post-silicon verification activities and complex debugging processes.

A Bachelor of Science (BS) or Master of Science (MS) degree, or equivalent practical experience, is essential. Possess at least one year of design experience. Demonstrate a minimum of one to two projects' worth of experience in ASIC verification of intricate design units. Familiarity with essential design and verification tools such as VCS or similar simulation tools, and debug tools like Debussy and GDB. Exposure to System Verilog and UVM-based methodologies for ASIC verification is highly advantageous. Knowledge of memory controllers or prior experience verifying IP/clusters with memory access is a significant plus. Exhibit strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Perl, or shell scripting is beneficial. Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
