Join NVIDIA, a leader in GPU technology and AI innovation, as an ASIC Verification Engineer in Bengaluru. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge Graphics Processors and Tegra SOCs. You will be part of a dynamic, supportive, and diverse team dedicated to amplifying human creativity and intelligence through groundbreaking technology.
NVIDIA is recognized globally for its transformative impact on computing, from pioneering the GPU to driving the advancements in artificial intelligence. We foster a learning environment where brilliant minds collaborate to solve challenging problems and make a lasting impact on the world.
As an ASIC Verification Engineer, you will be instrumental in the functional verification of complex IP/Cluster/SOC designs for our Graphics Processors and Tegra SOCs. Your responsibilities will include developing regression plans for both code and functional coverage closure. You'll perform critical pre-silicon validation activities, including XPROP simulations and GLS, and collaborate closely with hardware architects and designers to ensure optimal implementation choices.
Furthermore, you will engage with performance verification teams, enhance verification strategies through dynamic simulations and formal methods, and ensure comprehensive functional and code coverage for all verified RTL. You will also partner with FPGA and software teams to facilitate thorough software testing and contribute to post-silicon verification and debugging efforts.
We are seeking candidates with a BS/MS degree or equivalent experience, possessing at least one year of design experience and a proven track record in ASIC verification of complex design units over one or two projects. A strong background with design and verification tools such as VCS, and debug tools like Debussy and GDB is essential.
While not mandatory, exposure to System Verilog and UVM-based methodologies for ASIC verification is highly advantageous. We also value candidates with knowledge of memory controllers, prior experience verifying IP/clusters involving memory access, excellent debugging and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Perl, or shell. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit are key to success in our team-oriented environment.
