Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the IBM AS/400 (IBM i) platform using RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE, and DB2. Analyze business requirements to provide effective technical solutions for application development, customization, and ongoing support. Execute coding, rigorous testing, debugging, and deployment of AS/400 programs, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Investigate and troubleshoot production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing timely resolutions. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams for system enhancements, integrations, and successful project delivery.

Possess strong hands-on experience in AS/400 development, with expertise in RPG III/IV, RPGLE, CLLE, DB2/400, and Embedded SQL. Demonstrate a good understanding of IBM iSeries architecture, database design, file processing, and batch job management. Have experience in application maintenance, production support, performance tuning, and system troubleshooting. Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), change management, and version control processes is expected. Exhibit excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
