As part of ISD, you will collaborate with partners to provide comprehensive, industry-specific solutions tailored to unique customer needs. You will be instrumental in driving value across the entirety of customers’ digital and AI transformation journeys, leveraging repeatable and customized solutions through strategic engagements.
As an Architect Manager, your core responsibilities include empowering and coaching your team, fostering a culture of accountability, and embodying Microsoft's values. You will guide your team in understanding customer and partner technical environments, translating insights into actionable strategies, and ensuring solutions align with business outcomes and organizational goals.
Key duties involve overseeing architecture design and deployment, ensuring teams leverage existing approaches while developing new, scalable solutions. You will govern fiscal responsibilities, manage project profitability, and guide the documentation of architectures. Your role extends to collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage ambiguity, and ensure successful implementation and testing of solutions. Furthermore, you will drive practice development, generate intellectual property, and act as a trusted advisor to senior-level decision-makers, challenging the status quo and fostering win-win outcomes.
To excel in this role, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with at least 12 years of experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, or a related domain, is required. Alternatively, a Master's degree with 10+ years of equivalent experience will be considered.
Preferred qualifications include 15+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or 12+ years with a Master's degree, along with 8+ years in technical sales, 8+ years in project management, 4+ years managing complex portfolios, 2+ years leading multidisciplinary teams, and 5+ years in people management. Technical or professional certifications in a relevant domain, such as Security, are also highly valued.
