As an Architect, you will deeply understand customer and partner technical environments by gathering insights from diverse stakeholders. You will identify and evaluate industry trends, adapting business models and solutions accordingly. Your role involves collaborating with customer teams to socialize business solutions and project approaches, ensuring alignment and making necessary adjustments. You will act as a customer advocate, sharing insights with Product Engineering teams to enhance Microsoft technologies and offerings.

You will design and deploy robust architectures using structured methodologies like Agile and Waterfall, leveraging reference architectures and established design patterns. Developing and maintaining architecture description documents, decision logs, and traceability matrices will be key. Leading complex cost-based and technology-based discussions to articulate the architecture's value proposition and operational use will be essential. You will also collaborate with Project Managers to govern the design, build, and deployment of proofs of concept and pilots, ensuring quality control through peer reviews and demonstrating business value to clients. Managing and resolving ambiguous requirements, documenting assumptions, and driving test plan execution are also core responsibilities.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering is required. We are looking for candidates with 12-14+ years of progressive IT experience, specifically in Solution Architecture with a strong background in enterprise-scale technical experience across cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, database migrations, and technology management.

Proven experience in pre-sales support for large deals, including technical consulting, complex solution design, project envisioning, planning, development, deployment, and team management, is crucial. A demonstrated track record of delivering tangible business value and established trust-based relationships with CxO, ITDM, and BDM levels are essential. Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is mandatory for this role. This position may require travel, and work is expected to be performed onsite 3 days per week.
