Join Birlasoft's Extended Product LifeCycle Management (EPLM) Team as a dedicated Windchill Architect. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to engage directly with clients and colleagues, contributing to all project phases from initial analysis and implementation to customization and reporting. You will work with major clients across the medical, automotive, defense, and manufacturing sectors, tailoring solutions to meet their unique and complex requirements. Key responsibilities include implementing PLM project modules as part of a collaborative team, demonstrating a strong grasp of PLM concepts, practices, and procedures. This encompasses areas such as CAD, Assembly, Parts, Bill of Materials, Workflow, Change Management, and various integrations like WC ESI and Windchill Product Analytics. You will be responsible for capturing user requirements and documenting them meticulously, including User Requirement Specifications and Solution Designs. Experience with ESI integration, SUMA, and Part Classification is highly valued, alongside technical proficiency in Windchill customization, integration/ESI/Webservice, and a deep understanding of the Windchill PLM data model and APIs. Documenting methodologies and lessons learned is also a crucial part of this role.

This position requires a minimum of 12 to 17 years of dedicated experience in Windchill development. Prior experience within the Automotive, Locomotive, or Medical Device industries is a significant advantage. A Bachelor's degree, ideally in Computer Science or a related field, coupled with equivalent development industry experience, is expected. Essential skills include hands-on experience with integrations via ESI and Web services, particularly utilizing Windchill APIs. Experience with ERP integrations, web-based development (JSP, Javascript, MVC, Spring), in-depth knowledge of object-oriented methodologies and API development, and database experience (Oracle, SQL Server) are preferred.
