This role focuses on connecting shop floor equipment, PLCs, automation systems, and enterprise applications with the DELMIA Apriso Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The core of the position involves establishing real-time machine connectivity, facilitating data collection, monitoring production, and ensuring smooth communication between manufacturing hardware and business software.

It's a crucial position for optimizing manufacturing operations and bridging the gap between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) within the manufacturing environment. The goal is to achieve efficient and accurate production oversight.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing robust machine integrations with DELMIA Apriso MES. You'll configure and support diverse communication protocols like OPC UA, MQTT, REST APIs, SOAP, and TCP/IP for seamless interaction with PLCs, SCADA systems, and various machines.

This involves integrating Apriso with leading ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), configuring essential manufacturing functions such as machine data collection, production tracking, OEE calculation, downtime monitoring, and quality management processes. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, troubleshooting integration issues across multiple layers, and participating in MES deployment and validation activities.

This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing execution systems and machine integration. Proficiency in configuring and supporting communications between PLCs, SCADA systems, machines, and Apriso applications is essential. Experience developing interfaces using standard protocols like OPC UA, MQTT, REST APIs, SOAP, and TCP/IP is critical.

Familiarity with integrating Apriso with major ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is highly beneficial. You should be adept at configuring machine data collection, production tracking, OEE, downtime monitoring, and quality management. The ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues across MES, automation, network, and database layers is a must. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with industry standards like GMP, GxP, FDA, ISO, and cybersecurity requirements are also key aspects of this position.
