As an Applied Solutions Architect on the Go-To-Market team, you'll serve as the crucial technical link between customer challenges and Google's engineering prowess. This role involves understanding customer needs, architecting robust systems, and developing real-world applications.

Your work will focus on creating Proof-of-Value (PoV) products that integrate seamlessly with existing customer systems. You will champion AI and cloud-native solutions, ensuring they are not only technically sound but also perform exceptionally within enterprise environments.

Lead in-depth technical discovery sessions to thoroughly understand customer requirements and their existing technology infrastructure. Design comprehensive system architectures and conduct iterative workshops with stakeholders to finalize project scope, always keeping the ultimate end-state in view.

Transition effortlessly from high-level architectural concepts to detailed implementation, actively participating in coding, building, and deploying cloud systems. Ensure that technical designs are translated into functional and integrated solutions.

Architect and engineer sophisticated enterprise-grade AI solutions, including agentic workflows, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, and applied foundation models. Support these solutions with highly scalable, cloud-native infrastructure, leveraging event-driven microservices, containerized workloads, and serverless compute.

Develop functional Proof-of-Value (PoV) products that integrate seamlessly into a customer's current systems, effectively demonstrating tangible business value. Uphold stringent engineering best practices, security standards, and scalability guidelines throughout all builds to guarantee a smooth transition to production.

A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience is required.

Possess at least 4 years of experience in cloud-native architecture, particularly within customer-facing or support roles. Demonstrate expertise in architecting AI systems on cloud platforms and building full-stack solutions that effectively interface with enterprise systems.

Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leadership is essential. A background in software development, systems architecture, or a highly technical customer-facing role, coupled with proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Go, is highly preferred.

Experience managing the technical pre-sales lifecycle, from initial scoping and architecture design through the successful delivery of integrated Proofs-of-Value (PoVs), is beneficial. Deep experience with cloud-native application development and a proven track record in designing and building AI applications are also key qualifications.
