We are seeking a skilled Application Support & Maintenance Engineer specializing in Microsoft Technologies, Java, or Middleware. This role focuses on providing advanced support for critical healthcare integrations.

As an HL7 Rhapsody Integration Support Engineer, you will operate within a 24x7 shift roster, ensuring the stability and performance of vital healthcare interfaces. Your expertise will be crucial in resolving complex integration challenges and maintaining seamless data flow.

Key responsibilities include delivering L2/L3 production support for the Rhapsody Integration Engine and associated healthcare interfaces. You will be responsible for monitoring Rhapsody routes, communication points, message queues, and system health, while proactively troubleshooting issues with HL7 messages.

This role involves performing message tracing, analyzing HL7 message structures, and resolving connectivity problems across various protocols. You will investigate interface failures, reprocess messages, and support commonly used HL7 message types. Additionally, you will manage Rhapsody configurations, monitor server resources, and coordinate with cross-functional teams during incident resolution. Maintaining operational documentation and participating in on-call rotations are also integral parts of this position.

This position requires hands-on experience with the Rhapsody Integration Engine, including its IDE, route management, communication points, filters, connectors, message transformations, and transformation. A strong understanding of HL7 v2.x, message tracking, error handling, and Rhapsody logging is essential.

Furthermore, proficiency in troubleshooting connectivity issues via TCP/IP, MLLP, HTTP/HTTPS, SFTP/FTP, and web services is necessary. The ideal candidate will have experience with message reprocessing, message resubmission, and configuration deployment.
