Seeking a skilled IBM Tivoli Support Engineer to provide critical L2/L3 support for IBM Tivoli applications. This role involves ensuring the stability and performance of Tivoli environments, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing necessary configurations.

The position requires adherence to a 24x7 shift roster, including weekends, and necessitates working from designated ODCs in Noida, Bangalore, or Hyderabad. Join our team to maintain and enhance our application support infrastructure.

- Deliver L2/L3 production support for IBM Tivoli applications and their components. - Actively monitor Tivoli services, agents, servers, jobs, alerts, and overall system health. - Diagnose and resolve Tivoli application/service failures and connectivity issues. - Execute service start/stop, manage configuration changes, and perform agent maintenance and health checks. - Investigate alerts and production incidents using application and OS logs to pinpoint root causes. - Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring or critical incidents to prevent future occurrences. - Support installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance activities. - Troubleshoot diverse issues across Linux/Unix servers, databases, network connectivity, filesystems, CPU, and memory utilization. - Develop and maintain Shell/Python scripts for monitoring, health checks, log analysis, and operational automation. - Collaborate with database teams to address Tivoli-related database connectivity and performance concerns. - Manage incident, change, problem, and service request tickets using ITSM processes. - Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), runbooks, operational documentation, and knowledge articles. - Participate in on-call rotations and major incident troubleshooting as needed. - Coordinate with IBM/vendor support for resolution of complex product issues.

- Possess 4-8 years of experience in application support, specifically with IBM Tivoli. - Strong command-line and system troubleshooting skills on Linux/Unix platforms are essential. - Proficiency in Bash/Korn shell scripting for automation and support tasks. - Basic to intermediate Python scripting skills for support automation are required. - Solid understanding of SQL fundamentals, with experience in database connectivity and troubleshooting. - Knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, ports, firewalls, and connectivity troubleshooting. - Experience in administration, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of IBM Tivoli.
