This position involves comprehensive L2/L3 support for clinical EHR/EMR applications, addressing incidents and problems to restore services swiftly and meet SLAs. Key duties include proactive application monitoring, scheduled maintenance, patch validation, and upgrade support. You will also manage application changes through controlled release processes, conduct impact analyses, and maintain rollback plans. A significant aspect of the role is coordinating with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors, especially concerning regulated healthcare workflows. Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, security standards, and data privacy requirements through meticulous documentation is also essential.

A strong background in the US Healthcare Provider domain is mandatory, with a deep understanding of hospital workflows and operational support. You will provide L2/L3 production support for EMR, EHR, HIS, and other healthcare applications, focusing on high availability and system reliability. Troubleshooting application, interface, data, integration, and workflow issues using logs and database queries is expected. Experience with ITIL-aligned Incident, Request, Problem, Change, and Release Management is vital. Collaboration with clinical staff and other IT teams to support workflows, along with vendor coordination for issue resolution, is a core requirement. Participating in on-call rotations for critical healthcare applications is also part of this role.
