As an Application Support Engineer, you'll act as a software detective, providing dynamic service to identify and resolve issues within critical business systems. This role involves a proactive approach to monitoring, analyzing, and ensuring the smooth operation of applications. You will continuously engage with system performance and user feedback to maintain reliability and efficiency.

This position requires a dedicated individual to become a subject matter expert and contribute actively to team discussions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for the timely resolution of system issues. Your contributions will also include documenting findings and solutions to foster knowledge sharing and assisting in the development of process improvements for enhanced system stability.

- Act as a software detective, identifying and resolving issues within critical business systems. - Monitor system performance and analyze behavior to ensure smooth application operation. - Proactively engage with system performance and user feedback to maintain reliability. - Develop intermediate Snowflake SQL queries for data profiling, reconciliation, and validation. - Analyze data using joins, aggregations, filters, CTEs, and comparison logic. - Identify data quality issues such as duplicates, nulls, and inconsistencies. - Support impact assessments for changes to tables, columns, mappings, and business rules. - Document affected assets, users, processes, reports, and integrations based on evidence.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse. - Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse and strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts. - Experience with query optimization and performance tuning in data warehouse environments. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration issues. - Familiarity with scripting languages for automation and system maintenance is beneficial. - Understanding of data security and compliance standards relevant to data warehousing. - A foundation of 15 years of full-time education is required.
