As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as a crucial problem-solver, identifying and resolving issues across multiple critical business system components. This role offers a dynamic service experience, delving into the intricacies of our software.

You will architect and deliver cutting-edge AI-native Oracle solutions. This involves building and running bespoke AI applications and agents on OCI, specifically tailored to customer data and Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS) processes.

Design and construct custom Oracle AI solutions to enhance Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS) scenarios using OCI AI services and Oracle data platforms. Implement RAG/agent patterns comprehensively, covering ingestion, chunking/embeddings, vector search, reranking, and grounded generation with citations. Define robust evaluation and quality gates, including grounding checks, regression tests, and red-team prompts, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines for pre-go-live readiness. Engineer secure-by-design deployments incorporating OCI IAM policies, network isolation, secrets management, and audit logging for production environments. Manage AI operations in production, focusing on SLOs, monitoring (latency, errors, token/cost), incident playbooks, and continuous optimization strategies.

A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for this position. Possess strong foundational knowledge in OCI Generative AI and Data Science, including vector databases and embeddings. Demonstrate expertise in Oracle data integration and governance, covering PII classification, access control, and lineage. Showcase robust engineering skills within the Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS) domain to ensure AI outputs are grounded in Oracle process and data context. Proficiency in LLMOps is essential, including prompt/version control, evaluation harnesses, monitoring, and FinOps cost controls. Ability to take Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to production with effective governance and reliability is a key requirement.
