We are seeking a skilled Senior Managed File Transfer (MFT) Support Engineer to enhance our enterprise MFT platforms. This role is crucial for supporting B2B integrations and ensuring secure, reliable data exchange across our systems.

This position involves managing a large-scale environment with approximately 3,000 trading partners and over 800 internal file transfer processes. You will play a key part in maintaining the high availability and performance of these critical services.

Provide L2/L3 production support for Managed File Transfer (MFT) services and B2B file exchange platforms. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve file transfer issues, ensuring system availability and performance. Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement preventive measures. Administer and support various IBM Sterling components, including Sterling File Gateway, B2B Integrator, Connect:Direct, and Secure Proxy. Manage trading partner onboarding and configurations, maintaining relationships with approximately 3,000 partners. Support file transfer operations using SFTP and other secure B2B protocols. Ensure compliance with security policies, manage SSL/TLS certificates, and support PGP encryption. Troubleshoot application and database issues, and support platform upgrades, including Java. Participate in incident response, problem management, and maintain operational documentation.

Proven experience in L2/L3 production support for Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms. Proficiency with IBM Sterling components such as Sterling File Gateway (SFG), Sterling B2B Integrator, Connect:Direct, Sterling Secure Proxy, Sterling External Authentication Server (SEAS), and Control Center. Strong understanding of MFT concepts, trading partner management, and secure file exchange protocols. Experience with SSL/TLS certificate management and PGP encryption/decryption. Familiarity with AIX administration and Windows Server support. Ability to perform SQL database queries for troubleshooting and analysis. Experience with log analysis, performance monitoring, incident, and problem management. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
