Join Accenture as an Analytics and Modeling Analyst, focusing on trade payment processes. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency across wholesale and retail channels.
You will manage the entire trade payment lifecycle, from initial validation and calculation to execution and reconciliation. This involves working with substantial datasets to ensure payment accuracy, pinpoint discrepancies, and facilitate timely resolutions. Close collaboration with territory managers, finance controllers, and external parties is essential for streamlining processes and adhering to service-level agreements.
In this role, you will analyze and resolve lower-complexity problems with potentially limited client or Accenture management exposure. You will receive moderate instruction for daily tasks and detailed guidance for new assignments.
Your decisions will influence your own work and may impact others. As an individual contributor within a team, you will focus on your defined scope of work. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with KPIs and data privacy standards, driving continuous improvement for efficiency and customer satisfaction, and preparing/delivering recurring reports accurately and punctually.
Strong analytical skills are needed to handle large datasets and perform reconciliations. Precision and attention to detail are paramount to ensure zero variance in payments. You will also be responsible for identifying process gaps and proposing automation or improvement solutions.
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an analyst or similar role, preferably within finance operations and trade payment processes. Experience working within a third-party culture and a proven ability to improve processes for more effective outcomes are highly valued.
Essential skills include effective communication and interpersonal abilities, the capacity to perform under pressure, and strong analytical thinking. Proficiency in advanced Excel for calculations and reconciliations, along with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Outlook), is required. Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce, and SharePoint is also necessary, alongside an understanding of SOX controls, audit processes, and compliance requirements.
