As an Analytics and Modeling Analyst, you will be instrumental in maintaining the financial accuracy and operational flow of trade payment processes for wholesale and retail channels. Your role will encompass the complete trade payment lifecycle, from initial verification and calculation through to execution and reconciliation.
You will be adept at working with extensive datasets to confirm payment accuracy, pinpoint discrepancies, and ensure swift resolutions. This position necessitates strong collaboration with territory managers, finance controllers, and external partners to refine processes and meet service-level agreements.
Key duties include analyzing and resolving lower-complexity problems with moderate instruction on daily tasks and detailed guidance on new assignments. You will ensure adherence to KPIs and data privacy standards, driving continuous improvement for enhanced efficiency and customer satisfaction. Preparing and delivering reports accurately and on time is also crucial, alongside managing large datasets and performing reconciliations with a keen eye for detail to achieve zero variance in payments.
We are seeking an analyst with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience, ideally within finance operations and trade payment processes, with a proven ability to work effectively in a third-party culture and enhance processes for better outcomes.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside the capacity to perform under pressure and demonstrate strong analytical thinking. Proficiency in advanced Excel for calculations and reconciliations, along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel & Outlook), SAP, Salesforce, and SharePoint, is required.
Familiarity with SOX controls, audit procedures, and compliance mandates is also expected. This role involves individual contribution within a team setting, focusing on defined work scopes and making decisions that impact your own work and potentially that of others. A detail-oriented finance professional is ideal for managing complex trade payment processes with precision and adherence to compliance.
