This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health and operational smoothness of trade payment processes across wholesale and retail channels. You will manage the entire trade payment lifecycle, from initial validation and calculation through to execution and reconciliation.
Key responsibilities include analyzing large, complex datasets to verify payment accuracy, pinpointing discrepancies, and ensuring timely resolution. Collaboration with territory managers, finance controllers, and external partners is essential for streamlining processes and meeting service-level agreements.
You will be responsible for analysis and solving lower-complexity problems, with potentially limited client or Accenture management exposure. You will receive moderate guidance on daily tasks and detailed instructions for new assignments.
Your decisions will impact your own work and potentially that of others. As an individual contributor within a team, you will focus on a specific scope of work, ensuring adherence to KPIs and data privacy standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction, and prepare and deliver regular reports with accuracy and punctuality. Strong analytical skills are required to manage large datasets and perform reconciliations, ensuring zero variance in payments. Identify process gaps and propose automation or improvement strategies.
We are seeking an analyst with at least 3-5 years of experience, ideally within finance operations and trade payment processes. Experience working within a third-party culture and improving processes for more effective results is valuable.
Essential qualifications include effective communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to perform under pressure, and strong analytical thinking. Advanced proficiency in Excel for calculations and reconciliations, along with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook), is required.
Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce, and SharePoint is expected, as is knowledge of SOX controls, audit procedures, and compliance requirements. A detail-oriented approach is crucial for managing complex trade payment processes with precision and adherence to regulations.
