The opportunity is for an Analyst within our TMT (Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Telecommunications) Indirect Tax team in Hyderabad. This role involves supporting clients in navigating the complexities of indirect taxation in a rapidly evolving industry landscape.

As an Analyst in Indirect Tax, your key responsibilities will include:

- Executing assigned engagements, including preparation and assistance with tax return filing and report generation. - Identifying and flagging basic technical issues and data discrepancies. - Coordinating with managers and senior executives on assignment planning and management. - Contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives. - Delivering high-quality service, maintaining commercial awareness, and minimizing rework. - Collaborating effectively within the team and maintaining composure under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

To excel in this role, you must possess:

- A Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree. - A minimum of 1 year of work experience in Tax. - Prior exposure to GST and Customs is desirable, along with experience in erstwhile indirect taxes like Sales Tax, Service Tax, or Central Excise. - Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen are essential. - The ability to thrive in a fast-paced professional services environment. - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are a plus. - Flexibility, adaptability, and creativity are highly valued. - Comfort in interacting with senior executives. - Strong leadership potential and supervisory aptitude.
